For interstate household-goods moves, federal rules define binding and non-binding estimates. A binding estimate covers the shipment and services written into it. A non-binding estimate is approximate; for a collect-on-delivery shipment, its delivery-payment rule is generally 110% of the written estimate, plus later-requested services and limited impracticable-operations charges. Any separate not-to-exceed promise depends on its exact written terms and governing law (49 CFR 375.407).
For an interstate household-goods move, federal rules ordinarily require the written estimate to be based on a physical survey. The shipper may waive that survey only in a signed written agreement before loading. A phone-only cubic-foot quote based on an incomplete inventory deserves written follow-up.

Safebound Space Check is published by Safebound Logistics LLC, doing business as Safebound Moving & Storage. These terms cover this Safebound planning service. An independently operated SpaceCheck product is outside this account and these terms.
The public home and discovery content, Guides, walkthrough, methodology, About page, legal pages, and manual quote worksheet remain available without an account. Interactive Build, Truck, Check, Talk, Quote Library, and private saved-plan tools require a Safebound account. The account is free. Safebound may contact you about your account or move as explained below; optional marketing permission is separate.
To enter the interactive tools, provide your first and last name, contact phone number for a new account, email address, and password; confirm the email; and complete six-digit email-code verification. Keep your password and confirmed email account private and secure. Authenticator apps and text-message sign-in are not used.
To reset a forgotten password, request a recovery code at your account email address, verify that code, and choose a new password. You then sign in with the new password and an email verification code. Contact Safebound support if you cannot access your account email. Account signup does not opt you into marketing; any planning-update choice is separate, optional, and off by default.
When you create an account, Safebound may contact you by phone call, email, or text message using the contact details you provide to us. These communications may concern your account, moving plans, estimate, reservation or booking, documents, or a question or request you submit. We can only call or text if you have provided a phone number. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply.
Creating an account does not enroll you in promotional messages. Optional promotional communications require a separate choice, and accepting these terms is not consent to automated or prerecorded marketing calls or marketing texts. You may tell us your preferred contact method or ask us to stop a type of contact by emailing Info@safebound.com or calling (561) 617-8716. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe option. Necessary account and security messages may still be sent while we provide your account.
A plan saved to your account is private account data. Origin and destination ZIP codes are optional details of a move, not required profile fields. A plan saved only on your device stays there unless you explicitly review and import it into your account. Signup does not automatically upload a guest plan or attach older quote submissions by matching an email address.
While signed in, changes to your active account list, truck choice, room review, and manually entered comparison details save automatically to your account so you can continue on another device. The app shows whether changes are saved or still waiting to save. If devices have conflicting edits, you choose which version to use. Signing out hides your working list; it does not delete the account plan.
If you choose to create a public share link, review its bounded plan snapshot first. Anyone with the link can open that snapshot while the link is valid. Shared snapshots exclude account name and email, ZIP codes, private notes, chat history, and quote originals. The separate Privacy Notice explains account storage and how to request help with your data.
The tools use representative outside transport dimensions for the item categories and quantities you enter; they are not measurements of your belongings. After the packed load is verified, truck space runs from the front of the truck to the farthest loaded item and includes gaps and unused air within that span, then is shown in 100 cubic feet steps (a span no more than 10 cubic feet past a step is shown at that step). A home-size starter is a saved item list and uses the same packing calculation as a custom list. If some items remain outside the selected truck, the shown truck space covers only the loaded portion and full-load planning guidance stays unavailable until you choose a larger truck or split the load. For a complete load, separately plan 100 to 200 cubic feet beyond the rounded verified truck space for packing materials and practical loading room. If a written quote already exceeds that space, count the difference toward this guidance instead of adding it again. Actual belongings, protection, access and loading conditions vary. Confirm the full inventory and services with your mover.
Space Check does not provide a moving price, a guaranteed fit, or a binding or non-binding moving estimate. For an interstate move, a mover's written estimate is ordinarily based on a physical survey, in person or virtually, unless the shipper signs a written waiver. Quotes submitted through Check or Quote Library are processed for comparison and may be reviewed by authorized Safebound staff. Submitted PDF, image, and text originals may be stored privately for up to 365 days; pending or abandoned files expire sooner. Structured quote details and source-linked results may be kept for up to 24 months to operate and improve comparisons. Earlier deletion can be requested through the available saved-document or quote-library receipt flow, or by contacting us if you no longer have deletion access. We never sell submitted quote information.
Room photos and quote images or text are sent to Anthropic during analysis. Safebound does not archive room-photo files used for inventory; submitted quote originals follow the quote retention policy above. Talk messages and recent conversation context are sent to Anthropic. When a signed-in customer asks in Talk or Your Move about a linked move, Anthropic may also receive approved customer-visible estimate and move details linked to that account, including the estimate summary, inventory, pickup and delivery details, booking or deposit status, and approved Operation Details. The linked-record context excludes internal staff or representative notes; text the customer pastes into the message is part of the Talk message. If you use Voice, Groq receives audio for transcription and the transcript follows the Talk path. AI output may be incomplete; contact a person for account, price, safety, or move-specific decisions. Avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive details.
FMCSA lists Safebound as CARRIER/BROKER and authorizes it as a Motor Carrier of Household Goods (USDOT 2900155; MC 975408). For a household move, ask your account manager to confirm in writing that Safebound is the performing carrier; specialized services such as auto transport may be brokered.
For a collect-on-delivery shipment under a non-binding interstate estimate, 49 CFR 375.407 generally requires delivery after payment of up to 110% of the written estimate, plus services requested after the contract was executed that were not included in the estimate, and up to 15% of other delivery charges for qualifying impracticable operations. A remaining balance may be billed later. These planning tools do not change the terms of a written moving estimate or your rights under applicable rules.
The separate Privacy Notice explains account, plan, quote, analytics, provider, retention, and data-request practices. Clearing or resetting the app removes this device's saved state only; it does not by itself delete account or other server records. Space Check is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit a child's personal information in photos, documents, Talk, or Voice.

Supabase Auth manages account identity, email confirmation, password authentication, recovery codes, and provider session state; Safebound keeps the temporary session-bound email-verification receipt. Safebound stores the required profile names and contact phone number, along with a dated record of the service terms and account notice you accepted. The optional marketing choice is recorded separately and starts off.
Origin and destination ZIP codes are optional move-plan fields; they are not required profile fields. We do not infer account ownership, a lead request, or marketing permission from a ZIP code, an email match, or an existing device plan.
For new accounts created from September 23, 2026, a contact phone number is required. Existing accounts can continue to sign in. This is a contact detail you provide, not a verified phone identity or a text-message sign-in method. Providing it does not enroll you in promotional messages.
We use account information to create and secure access, verify email, keep private plans tied to the correct account, honor service choices, and provide account support. Confirmation, sign-in, password-reset, and recovery messages are service or security communications. We may also contact you about your move, estimate, or reservation as described below. Promotional communications remain a separate choice.
Safebound uses a secure sign-in cookie and temporary server-side session information to keep you signed in. Sign-in uses a password and an email verification code. Password recovery requires a valid code sent to the account email, followed by a new password and a fresh sign-in. Authenticator apps and text-message sign-in are not used. Contact Safebound support if you cannot access your account email.
Safebound may use the contact details you provide when creating an account or planning your move to reach you by phone call, email, or text message. We may follow up about your account, moving plans, estimate, reservation or booking, documents, or a question or request you submit. We only call or text a phone number you have provided. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Authorized Safebound staff and our communications providers use these details for the applicable communication.
Signup and acceptance of this notice do not enroll you in promotional messages or authorize automated or prerecorded marketing calls or marketing texts. Your optional marketing choice is recorded separately and starts off. You can tell us your preferred contact method or ask us to stop a type of contact at Info@safebound.com or (561) 617-8716, and unsubscribe from marketing emails using the email's unsubscribe option. Necessary account and security messages may continue while we provide your account.
A plan you deliberately save to your account may include the inventory and truck choices, planning details, notes, manually entered quote summaries, and optional origin or destination ZIP codes you put into that plan. Supabase stores the private account plan. Your active account workspace saves changes automatically and restores them when you sign in on another device. A recovery copy on the device keeps unsaved edits associated with the same account; conflicting versions require your choice. A device-only guest plan is not silently uploaded; importing it requires an explicit review and choice. Creating an account does not automatically link earlier quote submissions or moving-company job records by email.
A public share link contains only the bounded snapshot you review, such as the item list, truck choice, and planning summary. People who have a valid link can view that snapshot. It excludes your account name and email, ZIP codes, private notes, chat history, and quote originals. Quote Library documents and evidence stored on a device are separate from account-plan saving.
Quotes submitted through Check or Quote Library are processed for comparison and may be reviewed by authorized Safebound staff. Submitted PDF, image, and text originals may be stored privately for up to 365 days; pending or abandoned files expire sooner. Structured quote details and source-linked results may be kept for up to 24 months to operate and improve comparisons. The available saved-document or quote-library deletion receipt can remove a submission sooner; contact us if you no longer have receipt access. We never sell submitted quote information.
Details given in a separate contact or lead request are used for the email or follow-up you request and may be kept for up to 24 months. That contact-request period does not define retention for your Supabase account, email-verification records, private plans, or service-consent record. The account and move communications described above are separate from an optional marketing choice.

Supabase provides account authentication and stores account profiles, service-consent receipts, and private plans. Netlify hosts the app, server functions, temporary account sessions, and private document storage. Neon stores structured quote, lead, and analytics records. Cloudflare provides bot protection; Resend sends requested lead email; and a private malware scanner checks PDFs before they may be retained. Account confirmation and security emails are service messages, separate from a requested lead email or optional marketing choice.
Anthropic processes the submitted photos, quote content, and Talk context described above; Groq transcribes Voice audio. Optional Microsoft Clarity is described below. We use these services to operate the features you choose, subject to the information flow described in this notice.
When the Google map is available in Your Move, displaying it sends the pickup and delivery addresses from your approved linked move to Google. Choosing Open route also sends those addresses to Google Maps. The map is a route overview, not live vehicle tracking or a promised carrier route or delivery time.
After acceptance of the service terms, limited first-party analytics record app routes and feature interactions with hashed network and session identifiers for up to 13 months. We honor browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. The account signup choice is not consent to optional public-page recordings or marketing.
Microsoft Clarity is optional on public Guides or information pages only. If separately allowed in those pages' Settings, it may collect masked recordings and click maps. It is off by default and excluded from the interactive app, shared plans, and manual worksheet. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control prevent loading; you can change or withdraw the choice in the public page's Settings. Accepting service terms does not turn Clarity on.
The quote-original, structured-quote, separate contact-request, and first-party analytics periods above are specific to those records. Account, private-plan, email-verification, and service-consent information is kept while the account is provided and as needed for necessary service operations or applicable obligations; those older periods do not automatically apply to account records. We do not promise that resetting a device or closing a browser erases server, provider, or backup records.
You can choose Delete Account in the account panel. Deletion requires recent identity verification and an explicit confirmation. It removes your Space Check sign-in identity and account-owned profile, private saved plans, preferences, and consent receipts, and revokes account access. It does not cancel your move or erase separate booking, estimate, payment, quote-submission, or legally required business records. Device-only data and public snapshots already shared are separate; clearing or resetting the app removes saved state on that device only.
To request access, correction, or deletion of other information Safebound controls, email Info@safebound.com. Safebound will verify the request and review the relevant records and any applicable operational or legal exceptions before acting. Provider backups may expire on their own retention schedule rather than immediately. Account export is not available in the app; legacy quote-submission deletion receipts remain a separate route.
Space Check is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit a child's personal information through photos, documents, Talk, or Voice.
