Free four-quote worksheet
Compare moving quotes apples to apples.
Place up to four written estimates side by side. Compare what each company priced—not only the number at the bottom—then turn every mismatch into a question the mover must answer in writing.

How to use it
- Use the latest complete written estimate and attachments from each company.
- Copy the document's wording and units. Do not convert pounds to cubic feet or assume a blank field is included.
- Write “not found” when the document does not state a term and “needs confirmation” when it is unclear.
- Compare the total only after inventory, shipment basis, services, liability choice, timing, and payment terms align.
- Send every unresolved difference to the mover in writing and keep the response with the estimate.

The apples-to-apples gate
A lower total is not meaningfully lower until these five conditions line up:
Questions to send in writing
- “Please confirm that the attached inventory and every quantity are complete.”
- “What exact weight, cubic feet, hours, or other quantity supports this price?”
- “Which packing, access, storage, shuttle, and furniture services are included, and what can trigger added charges?”
- “What liability or valuation option is included in this total, and what changes if I choose another option?”
- “Who will perform the move, and which pickup and delivery promises are guaranteed in writing?”
- “Please issue a revised written estimate that includes your answers before I sign.”
