Safebound Space Check Terms of Service

Publisher and scope

Safebound Space Check is published by Safebound Logistics LLC, doing business as Safebound Moving & Storage. These terms cover this Safebound planning service. An independently operated SpaceCheck product is outside this account and these terms.

The public home and discovery content, Guides, walkthrough, methodology, About page, legal pages, and manual quote worksheet remain available without an account. Interactive Build, Truck, Check, Talk, Quote Library, and private saved-plan tools require a Safebound account. The account is free. Safebound may contact you about your account or move as explained below; optional marketing permission is separate.

Creating and protecting an account

To enter the interactive tools, provide your first and last name, contact phone number for a new account, email address, and password; confirm the email; and complete six-digit email-code verification. Keep your password and confirmed email account private and secure. Authenticator apps and text-message sign-in are not used.

To reset a forgotten password, request a recovery code at your account email address, verify that code, and choose a new password. You then sign in with the new password and an email verification code. Contact Safebound support if you cannot access your account email. Account signup does not opt you into marketing; any planning-update choice is separate, optional, and off by default.

Phone calls, email, and text messages

When you create an account, Safebound may contact you by phone call, email, or text message using the contact details you provide to us. These communications may concern your account, moving plans, estimate, reservation or booking, documents, or a question or request you submit. We can only call or text if you have provided a phone number. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply.

Creating an account does not enroll you in promotional messages. Optional promotional communications require a separate choice, and accepting these terms is not consent to automated or prerecorded marketing calls or marketing texts. You may tell us your preferred contact method or ask us to stop a type of contact by emailing Info@safebound.com or calling (561) 617-8716. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe option. Necessary account and security messages may still be sent while we provide your account.

Your plans and sharing choices

A plan saved to your account is private account data. Origin and destination ZIP codes are optional details of a move, not required profile fields. A plan saved only on your device stays there unless you explicitly review and import it into your account. Signup does not automatically upload a guest plan or attach older quote submissions by matching an email address.

While signed in, changes to your active account list, truck choice, room review, and manually entered comparison details save automatically to your account so you can continue on another device. The app shows whether changes are saved or still waiting to save. If devices have conflicting edits, you choose which version to use. Signing out hides your working list; it does not delete the account plan.

If you choose to create a public share link, review its bounded plan snapshot first. Anyone with the link can open that snapshot while the link is valid. Shared snapshots exclude account name and email, ZIP codes, private notes, chat history, and quote originals. The separate Privacy Notice explains account storage and how to request help with your data.

Planning figures and estimates

The tools use representative outside transport dimensions for the item categories and quantities you enter; they are not measurements of your belongings. After the packed load is verified, truck space runs from the front of the truck to the farthest loaded item and includes gaps and unused air within that span, then is shown in 100 cubic feet steps (a span no more than 10 cubic feet past a step is shown at that step). A home-size starter is a saved item list and uses the same packing calculation as a custom list. If some items remain outside the selected truck, the shown truck space covers only the loaded portion and full-load planning guidance stays unavailable until you choose a larger truck or split the load. For a complete load, separately plan 100 to 200 cubic feet beyond the rounded verified truck space for packing materials and practical loading room. If a written quote already exceeds that space, count the difference toward this guidance instead of adding it again. Actual belongings, protection, access and loading conditions vary. Confirm the full inventory and services with your mover.

Space Check does not provide a moving price, a guaranteed fit, or a binding or non-binding moving estimate. For an interstate move, a mover's written estimate is ordinarily based on a physical survey, in person or virtually, unless the shipper signs a written waiver. Your Safebound account manager provides the actual price.

Quote, photo, and AI features

Quotes submitted through Check or Quote Library are processed for comparison and may be reviewed by authorized Safebound staff. Submitted PDF, image, and text originals may be stored privately for up to 365 days; pending or abandoned files expire sooner. Structured quote details and source-linked results may be kept for up to 24 months to operate and improve comparisons. Earlier deletion can be requested through the available saved-document or quote-library receipt flow, or by contacting us if you no longer have deletion access. We never sell submitted quote information.

Room photos and quote images or text are sent to Anthropic during analysis. Safebound does not archive room-photo files used for inventory; submitted quote originals follow the quote retention policy above. Talk messages and recent conversation context are sent to Anthropic. When a signed-in customer asks in Talk or Your Move about a linked move, Anthropic may also receive approved customer-visible estimate and move details linked to that account, including the estimate summary, inventory, pickup and delivery details, booking or deposit status, and approved Operation Details. The linked-record context excludes internal staff or representative notes; text the customer pastes into the message is part of the Talk message. If you use Voice, Groq receives audio for transcription and the transcript follows the Talk path. AI output may be incomplete; contact a person for account, price, safety, or move-specific decisions. Avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive details.

Moving services and consumer rights

FMCSA lists Safebound as CARRIER/BROKER and authorizes it as a Motor Carrier of Household Goods (USDOT 2900155; MC 975408). For a household move, ask your account manager to confirm in writing that Safebound is the performing carrier; specialized services such as auto transport may be brokered.

For a collect-on-delivery shipment under a non-binding interstate estimate, 49 CFR 375.407 generally requires delivery after payment of up to 110% of the written estimate, plus services requested after the contract was executed that were not included in the estimate, and up to 15% of other delivery charges for qualifying impracticable operations. A remaining balance may be billed later. These planning tools do not change the terms of a written moving estimate or your rights under applicable rules.

Privacy, children, and contact

The separate Privacy Notice explains account, plan, quote, analytics, provider, retention, and data-request practices. Clearing or resetting the app removes this device's saved state only; it does not by itself delete account or other server records. Space Check is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit a child's personal information in photos, documents, Talk, or Voice.
